Ep 43 - Heidi Lux, Steve Cooper, and Traffic Court

Heidi comes back on the podcast, as we travel to an underground comedy show.   We jump right into some news stories. The first one is about a Romanian Princess was busted in Portland for running a chicken fighting operation out of her house. 
The conversation quickly turns into Eric bragging about Muay Thai Training, and Heidi bragging about Bikram yoga. 
Indonesia has waves of trash. This opens the debate between Eric and Heidi about dumping trash in ocean vs land. 
Heidi talks about how the crowd management at her shows is getting harder and harder to deal with. 
Despite having a GPS, we end up going the wrong way on the freeway, on the way to the underground show.

He talks about his local Kickstarter campaign, to make a feature film, which he is gearing up to shoot. Duke gives a little taste of what the movie is going to be about. 
Duke talks about how his life transitioned from selling mortgages to doing comedy. And how when he was making lots of money selling mortgages, he didn't feel the need to look inward. 
Eric rends an episode description for an episode of Duke's World Podcast, which is written in flowery prose. 
Duke talks about doing too much acid as a teenager, and how that might have contributed to his mental instability.

Legendary LA comic Quincy Jones stops by the Highway Diary podcast for the 2nd time. He talks about how he's trying to reach 1000 sets in 2013.
Eric starts the podcast talking about the artistic integrity around his filthy material.
Eric has a date with a  comic coming up, and he asks Quincy for advice.
The podcast plays a clip of Beyonce talking about Jay Rockafeller, and giving him a shout-out for the reason why she puts both her hands in the air in the shape of a triangle. Quincy argues that she's married to Jay-Z and the record company's name is Rockefeller.
More Scientology talk, kinda a staple feature.
Eric keeps getting texts, because his dog Buddy back home just died.

Eric and Jake talk about motorcyclists who shit anywhere they can. Eric wonders if anyone shits while riding a motorcycle, like horses who shit while walking.
Eric plays a mysterious clip of testimony from a person who claims to be the son of Anton Lavey, and how his father castrated him in a satanic ceremony in front of George HW Bush.
More controversy. I had a technical issue, when the SD card got full of Jake's story about how the gay porn in his car, wasn't his.
This is a very strange episode, mix of comedy and conspiracy. It's recommended that you stick a thumb in your butt, to maintain a constant heart-rate, it's going to be a bumpy ride on this stretch of Highway Diary.
